The module (10) has a case structure (16) arranged for housing a landing gear (12) that comprises trap doors (14, 15) connected to the case structure. A set of systems i.e. electronic compartments, is associated with the landing gear. An extension/retraction system of the landing gear allows an exit of the landing gear of the case structure and re-entry of the landing gear in the module. Fixing cases lock the landing gear of the case structure and each trap door in a top position. An independent claim is also included for a process for manufacturing an aircraft.
