PURPOSE: A solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent voids from being generated between a connection electrode and a substrate and to increase electric conduction. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode(140) is electrically connected to an emitter part. Holes are formed in a back protection layer(190). A second electrode(150) is electrically connected to a substrate. A back electrode layer has no silicon. The connection electrode includes silicon.
