PURPOSE: A content play device for providing an interactive augmented space and a method thereof are provided to implement space interactive content by displaying a real space and by supplying a content service based on space interaction supporting three-dimensional touch interaction. CONSTITUTION: An augmented space recognizing unit(140) recomposes a real space as a virtual space based on a depth image extracted from the real space to match a primitive object. The augmented space recognizing unit projects a virtual three-dimensional object synthesized with the recomposed virtual space in the real space.
