<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply electric power to a load even if power supply from an external power source is stopped by a power supply device that includes a main power source using the external power source as a power supply source and supplying electric power to the load with constant-voltage output and an auxiliary power source using internal power storage means as a power supply source and supplying electric power to the load with constant-current output, and supplies a load current exceeding an upper-limit indication value of an output current value of the main power source by the auxiliary power source. <P>SOLUTION: Output of a constant-voltage power source 30 of a main power source 29 is supplied to a 24 V load 35. A current indicator 64 detects the difference between a detected value of a load current detector 33 and an output-current upper-limit indication value of the constant-voltage power source 30. An output current controller 46 performs control such that a constant-current/constant-voltage switching power source 26 of the auxiliary power source 32 supplies a load current exceeding the upper-limit indication value to the 24 V load 35. Based upon output of a power failure detection part 90, a switching circuit 55 switches the constant-current/constant-voltage switching power source 26 to the constant-voltage output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
