<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delivery service support method and a delivery service support system for performing the same both of which can reduce burdens on a delivery source and a delivery company, resources, and costs. <P>SOLUTION: A delivery result information management system 102 receives delivery article's destination information read by a reader 101 and then registers it in a database in such a form that delivery result information input from a portable terminal by a delivery person for the delivery article is associated with destination information managed by the delivery result information management system 102. A delivery result information utilization system 105 collates delivery-scheduled destination information with the delivery result information registered in the delivery result information management system 102 so as to select an addressee-unknown delivery destination included in the delivery-scheduled destination information. A delivery information creation system 107 prevents the addressee-unknown delivery article from being delivered by correcting the delivery-scheduled destination information on the basis of the result of collation of the delivery-scheduled destination information with the delivery result information registered in the delivery result information management system 102. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
