<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polylactic acid-containing resin composition which is excellent in heat resistance, transparency and moldability and further improved in impact resistance and durability, and to provide a molded body obtained from the polylactic acid-containing resin composition. <P>SOLUTION: The polylactic acid-containing resin composition contains: 100 parts by mass of a resin containing 20 to 98 mass% of poly(methylmethacrylate) and 80 to 2 mass% of polylactic acid; and 1 to 100 pts.mass of an impact resistance-improving material. The polylactic acid contains the L-isomer in an amount of 92 mol% or more with respect to the total lactic acid components. The impact resistance-improving material is a polymer having a core-shell type multilayer structure, contains a polymer having a methyl methacrylate unit in the shell layer and a polymer having an acrylic acid alkyl ester unit in the core layer.
