<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catch basin having a filter therein, which allows for less maintenance frequency. <P>SOLUTION: A catch basin includes a catch basin body and a filter. The catch basin body has a soil reservoir part at the bottom and is provided with an inflow port arranged on top of the soil reservoir and an outflow port arranged on top of the soil reservoir, at a position different from that of the inflow port. The filter is arranged to separate the inflow port and the outflow port, extending on top of the outflow port. The region on the side of the outflow port of the catch basin body separated by the filter is a cavity. At the top edge of the filter, an opening to the region on the side of the outflow port is provided at a height higher than the top edge of the outflow port in the catch basin body. When the filter is clogged, the drain water outflows to the region on the side of the outflow port of the catch basin body from the region on the side of the inflow port across the top edge of the filter in the catch basin body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
