CHARGE AND DISCHARGE APPARATUS OF ASSEMBLED BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in power loss when dispersions of terminal voltages of all the battery cell C11 to Cmn is reduced.

SOLUTION: Respective modules M1 to Mm constituting a high-voltage battery 10 are connected with a capacitor Cm between modules via a matrix converter MMC between modules. The modules M1 to Mm having high terminal voltage are connected to the capacitor Cm between modules, so that the capacitor Cm between modules is charged with electric energy. Thereafter, the modules M1 to Mm having low terminal voltage are connected to the capacitor Cm between modules, so that the module having low terminal voltage is charged with power storage energy of the capacitor between modules.
