<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light measurement device for reducing a background light noise from a micro-plate. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is a light irradiation device for irradiating a micro-plate 20 provided with a plurality of wells for storing a measurement object with irradiation rays of light and a light measurement device including the light irradiation device. The light measurement device includes: a light guide member 61 having a main face 61a on which a plurality of projecting parts 61e with almost the same shapes are formed, a back face 61h being a face which is an opposite side of the main face 61a, and side faces 61b which are almost orthogonal to the main face 61a; and a light source device 62 for making irradiation rays of light 61b incident from the side faces 61b of the light guide member 61 to the light guide member 61. The projecting part 61e has an upper face 61f which is almost in parallel with the main face 61a, and the light guide member 61 can be arranged such that an upper face 61f of the projecting part 61e is brought into contact with a back face 23 of the micro-plate 20. Also, the light guide member 61 can be arranged such that the upper face 61f of the projecting part 61e faces the bottom face of a well 21 of the micro-plate 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
