摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply with a reduced total capacity for control rod drive mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A first driver power supply unit having two uninterruptible power supply units 3, each being capable of supplying 50% of power required by a control rod drive mechanism 6, and a second driver power supply unit 2 having one uninterruptible power supply unit 3 are connected in parallel to supply power to the control rod drive mechanism 6. Since the three uninterruptible power supply units are capable of supplying 150% of the requirement, the amount of power required can be supplied even if one of the units fails, thereby ensuring reliability. When a power supply is configured with two uninterruptible power supply units, each unit needs to have a supply capacity of 100% in order to be able to supply the required amount of power in the event that one of the units fails, which means that a total supply capacity of 200% is required. By using the three-unit configuration with a total supply capacity of 150%, the requirement is fulfilled with a reduced supply capacity that is 75% of the two-unit configuration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
