Provided is a stretched optical compensation film that is a retardation film comprising a cellulose resin having superior optical characteristics. The stretched optical compensation film results from admixing 0.5-30 parts by mass of a beta-diketone compound represented by general formula (I) for every 100 parts by mass of cellulose resin. (In the formula:R1 and R2 each independently represent an optionally substituted alkyl group having 1-20 carbon atoms, an optionally substituted arylaklyl group having 7-20 carbon atoms, or an optionally substituted aryl group having 6-20 carbon atoms; and R3 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms.)
