<p>Among other things, a mobile wireless device can be used for communication of data via an optical representation. The data may represent an instrument of payment and be provided using a display. The optical representation is read by an optical receiver of a second device, and can be translated back into the data. Consequently, a device such as a mobile phone may be used to make or receive payments using optical representations of data.</p> |
