<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevents water, leaking from a pump part, from entering a motor in a water pump. <P>SOLUTION: The water pump 1 includes: the pump part 11 having a centrifugal blade 10; a rotation shaft 12 which rotates the centrifugal blade 10; and a motor part 13 which is disposed on the rear side of the pump part 11 and drives the rotation shaft 12. The motor part 13 includes: a motor case 30; the motor 62 which is accommodated in the motor case 30 and rotates the rotation shaft 12; and bearings 61, 63 which are disposed on both sides via the motor 62 on the rotation shaft 12, are interposed between an inner surface of the motor case 30 and the rotation shaft 12 and support the rotation shaft 12 freely rotatably. On the motor case 30, there is formed a vent hole 110 for achieving air ventilation between a motor space A, in which the motor 62 in the motor case 30 is disposed, and an external part of the motor case 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
