<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a power supply and detect a fault in the event of such a fault as a ground fault in an output line of a power unit. <P>SOLUTION: A first MOSFET 102 is serially connected to a sub power supply line LS with a source toward a sub power supply 101, and a second MOSFET 103 is serially connected with a drain connected to a drain of the first MOSFET 102. A third MOSFET 202 is serially connected to the sub power supply line LS in a control unit 200 with a source toward the sub power supply 101, and a fourth MOSFET 203 is serially connected with a drain connected to a drain of the third MOSFET 202. The first to fourth MOSFETs are controlled to supply power of the sub power supply 101 to a load 201. Drain voltages of the respective MOSFETs and a voltage between the second MOSFET 103 and the third MOSFET 202 are monitored to diagnose faults in the MOSFETs and a fault in the sub power supply line LS. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
