<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device which allows a user to easily visually recognize that a spindle is in rotation. <P>SOLUTION: The cutting device comprises: a chuck table for holding a workpiece; and a cutting means for cutting the workpiece held by the chuck table. The cutting means includes: a spindle rotationally driven by a motor; a spindle housing for freely rotatably supporting the spindle; a cutting blade attached to the tip of the spindle in order to cut the workpiece held by the chuck table; and mounts for fixing the cutting blade to the spindle by sandwiching it therebetween. Recognition marks are formed on at least either of the cutting blade and the mounts so as to allow a user to recognize the rotation of the spindle by the change of their patterns during the rotation and the stop of the spindle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
