<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device capable of calculating a distance to a detection object without depending on the detection object. <P>SOLUTION: An input device 1 is roughly configured including: a plurality of sensor wires 20 arranged on an x axis; a plurality of sensor wires 21 provided in a layer below the plurality of sensor wires 20 and arranged on a y axis intersecting with the x axis; a detection part 24 for detecting a first capacitance for each sensor wire 20 and a second capacitance for each sensor wire 21; an xy coordinate calculation part 26b for calculating coordinates of a detection point of the detection object on the basis of the first capacitances and the second capacitances detected by the detection part 24; and a z coordinate calculation part 26c for calculating a distance of a z axis orthogonal to the x axis and the y axis between a plane formed by the plurality of sensor wires 20 and the detection object on the basis of the maximum capacitance in the detected first capacitances, the maximum capacitance in the detected second capacitances, an interval of the sensor wires 20 and the sensor wire 21, and the coordinates of the detection point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
