<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an operation involving a change in product storage space demarcation required for storing steel products which come to the product storage space in future in consideration of a handling amount and a loaded state. <P>SOLUTION: An operation support system 3 inputs a product information file 41, a stock status file 42, a storage space setting map file 43, a storage space operation restriction file 44, and a search condition file 45 so as to estimates an inventory, searches for a product storage space where shipping lots can be carried in at arrival thereof, searches for relocation patterns for integrating stacked shipping lots and product storage spaces where the shipping lots can be carried in when no product storage space can be found, computes an evaluation value based on the handling amount and the loaded state of the steel products for each of the relocation patterns searched, determines the optimum relocation pattern and the product storage space secured by this relocation on the basis of the evaluation value and then changes the storage space setting map file 43. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
