<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication base station that can improve power-saving effect by avoiding unnecessary power consumption of the radio communication terminal when an MC frame is transmitted. <P>SOLUTION: An AP comprises: a multicast frame detection unit 133 which stores a reception frame in a multicast frame buffer 136 if the reception frame from a network device is an MC frame; a power saving terminal management unit 131 which holds the association of an MC group with a participating radio communication terminal and power saving state information indicating whether the radio communication terminal is in a power saving mode as a management table, regards a radio communication terminal corresponding to an MC frame as a destination terminal by referring to the management table if the MC frame is detected, and determines the power saving state of the destination terminal; and a beacon generation unit 134 which generates a beacon which stores information indicating that the MC frame is not buffered and a frame destined to a destination terminal is stored if the destination terminal is in the power saving mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
