PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional electronic component ensuring easy and reliable attachment between a mount and a case.

SOLUTION: A case 70 of a multifunctional electronic component 1 is provided with an attachment part 77 projecting radially outward from the outer peripheral wall 76 farther than the outer periphery of a rotary knob 10. A case attachment part 137 is provided at a position facing the attachment part 77 of the case 70 of a mount 130. Attachment between the case 70 and the mount 130 is carried out by inserting an engaging part 80 consisting of a protrusion provided in the attachment part 77 into an attachment stationary part 139 consisting of a hole provided in the case attachment part 137, and then thermally caulking the tip of the engaging part 80 with the attachment part 77 (its top face) as a receiving surface.
