Dual gradient drilling may be performed by anchoring drilling tubulars (18) from a drilling ship (10) on the seabed. The drilling tubulars may include an inline pump (26) for pumping mud through another set of tubulars (16) that actually drill the well. Then dual gradient drilling may be instituted by controlling the pressure by controlling the operation of the pump (26).
