Provided is a wavelength-multiplexed optical transmission device which is suitable for separation/multiplexing/switching/routing for each wavelength of an optical wavelength multiplexed signal, in which optical signals which have an almost rectangular spectrum are arranged in high density and for which frequency utilization efficiency is extremely high. The wavelength-multiplexed optical transmission device as laid out in the present invention is configured so that flat portions of neighboring transmission bands upon a wavelength spectrum overlap (see Fig. 6).
