PURPOSE: A secondary battery pack comprises a direct protection circuit part and a parallel protection circuit part, thereby being commonly used for connection of unit cells in parallel and in series. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery pack(1) comprises a plurality of unit cells which form a secondary battery by mounting an electrode assembly in a pouch(20); a protection circuit module(30) electrically connected to the unit cell; and a connector(40) connected to the protection circuit module. The protection circuit module comprises a direct protection circuit part(31) which connects the unit cells and in series; a parallel protection circuit part(32) which connects the unit cells in parallel; and additionally includes a switching part(33) which selectively connects the direct protection circuit part and the parallel protection circuit part, to the connector.
