<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer compound having high absorbance of long-wavelength light. <P>SOLUTION: The polymer compound containing repeating units represented by formula (A) and repeating units represented expressed by formula (B) is provided. [In formula (A) and formula (B), each R is the same or different and is represented by hydrogen atom, fluorine atom, alkyl group, alkoxide group, aryl group, heteroaryl group and a group represented by formula (2a) or a group expressed by formula (2b). Hydrogen atom contained in the group may be substituted with fluorine atom. Each of Ar<SP POS="POST">1</SP>, Ar<SP POS="POST">2</SP>, Ar<SP POS="POST">3</SP>represents a 6-60C tetravalent aromatic hydrocarbon group or a 4-60C tetravalent heterocyclic group which may have a substituent].
