<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MOPA system laser light source device in which the first peak power of output laser light is controlled appropriately immediately after switching from continuous oscillation to pulse oscillation, in the laser output of a light source device using an MOPA system laser light source device having a seed laser light generation section, and an optical amplification section and capable of switching the oscillation form to pulse oscillation or continuous oscillation. <P>SOLUTION: The MOPA system laser light source device includes a seed laser light source for generating seed laser light, an optical amplifier for amplifying the seed laser light, and a control section for controlling the seed laser light source. The control section controls switching of the pulse oscillation state and the continuous oscillation state in the seed laser light source so that the average power is differentiated in the pulse oscillation state and the continuous oscillation state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
