<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component monitoring device and a component monitoring method of a work machine, capable of detecting use of a component other than regular components. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring device for monitoring a replaceable component 3 includes: component ID acquisition means 1B for reading first component identification information from a radio tag 4; component ID storage means 1D for managing second component identification information related to the regular component; collation timing detection means 1A for detecting whether or not a preset collation time period has arrived; collation means 1C for comparing the first component identification information read from the radio tag 4 by the component ID acquisition means 1B with the second component identification information managed by the component ID storage means 1D, and determining whether or not the first component identification information and the second component identification information match; and abnormal state control means 1E for issuing an alarm or/and limiting an operation of a work machine 2 when the first component identification information and the second component identification information do not match. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
