GRAPHICAL RE-INSPECTION USER SETUP INTERFACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graphical user interface which provides very simple and intuitive ways of changing single or multiple inspection parameters.

SOLUTION: Graphical display immediately shows how a monitoring or inspection result is to change if a set change had been applied when inspecting the last N pieces of parts. This retrospective and graphical "look-back" invokes immediate re-inspection and facilitates an estimation of what the future inspection result or process monitoring results will be when future production looks similar to the recent past production. The re-inspection results are immediately shown together with visualization to facilitate optimization of understanding and settings. Also, by the visualization, other data associated with each specific inspection is selectively displayed to facilitate tracking and optimization of production processes.
