An inkjet printing coating recovery system (100) and recovery method, the recovery method comprising the following steps: utilizing a cleaning device (102) to draw up the coating jetted by an inkjet head (101), and collecting the coating into a recovery container (104); mixing fresh coating with the coating collected by the recovery container (104) to formulate recycled coating; and supplying the recycled coating to the inkjet head (101). The system (100) and method can effectively recover un-used coating, thus saving inkjet printing material.
