摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst at low cost, being effective for electrochemical oxidation reaction of a hydrazine compound such as hydrazine and derivatives thereof and particularly having good activity as an anode catalyst in a solid polymer fuel cell with a hydrazine compound as a fuel.

SOLUTION: A catalyst for electrochemical oxidation of a hydrazine compound is composed of a metal complex comprising a 8 group element or a 9 group element as a metal composition and a nitrogen-containing polycyclic compound as a ligand.
