<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knock control device for an internal combustion engine which can control the occurrence of knocking, while suppressing rise in costs. <P>SOLUTION: When the knocking occurs (S10), it is determined whether the knocking occurs at an intake side or at an exhaust side (S12). When the knocking occurs at the intake side, a predetermined plus voltage is applied to an oxygen occlusion member at the intake side of a cylinder in a latter half of a compression stroke, and when the knocking occurs at the exhaust side, a predetermined plus voltage is applied to an oxygen occlusion member at the exhaust side of the cylinder in the latter half of the compression stroke (S14 to S16, S26 to S28). When the cylinder in the latter half of the compression stroke comes to a first half of an expansion stroke, a predetermined minus voltage is applied to the oxygen occlusion member at the intake side or the oxygen occlusion member at the exhaust side (S18 to 24, S30 to S34). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
