<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection pump which can prevent the mixing of lubricating oil into fuel. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel injection pump 1, a plunger 10 which is reciprocally and slidably arranged in a plunger barrel 11 is constituted so as to be interlocked to a tappet 20 while protruding from the plunger barrel 11, and the tappet 20 is constituted so as to be reciprocal and slidable in a tappet chamber 16 which is formed at a pump case 12 by a cam 21. The upper end of the tappet 20 constantly protrudes from the upper end 16a of the tappet chamber 16 toward the plunger barrel 11 side in the whole area of a sliding stroke 203 between the uppermost position and the lowermost position of a reciprocation slide, and prevents the lubricating oil from being scattered on the plunger 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
