<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat adjusting device capable of consistently keeping a seat posture while controlling an increase in the number of components, and the complication of structure. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle seat adjusting device includes a first bracket 21 integrally having a ratchet internal tooth 24, a bracket side returning wall 28, and a bracket side inversion wall 29 with each other, a second bracket 31 pivotally supported by the first bracket 21, a holding member 30 for regulating the brackets 21, 31 in the axial direction, a pole 41 pivotally supported by the second bracket 31 in a storage space S, and a pole inversion spring 46. The pole 41 includes a pawl 43 engaged with the ratchet internal tooth 24, and a pole side inversion wall 44 which is abutted on a bracket side inversion wall 29 urged in the opposite direction by the pole inversion spring 46 so as to be turnable.
