PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone control apparatus and a telephone system which are capable of setting an incoming call sound pattern for every incoming call group, whereby it is possible to distinguish which incoming call group is in an incoming call status, in which, if there is a telephone terminal belonging to a plurality of incoming call groups and the groups are in the incoming call status at the same time, the telephone terminal rings so that the status can be distinguished.

SOLUTION: A main apparatus 1 connected to an external public line and performing a call control, as a telephone exchange, is connected to a terminal control device 2 housing a plurality of telephone terminals and has a storage device 11 storing an incoming call sound pattern database or the like in which an incoming call sound pattern is associated with each incoming call group.
