The purpose of the present invention is to provide a secondary cell module (1) having redundant reliability, in which stacked square-shaped cells (61) are secured in an ideal condition, and through an easy assembly operation. This secondary cell module for accomplishing this purpose has a cell block (11) of a plurality of stacked square-shaped cells (61), said secondary cell module (1) further having a pair of end plates (21, 31) disposed in respective opposition at a first side and the other side of the cell block (11) in the stacking direction, and a pair of side frames (41, 51) disposed in respective opposition at a first side and the other side of the cell block (11) in the width direction orthogonal to the stacking direction, a first end thereof engaging the end plate (21) at the first side in the stacking direction, and the other end thereof engaging the end plate (31) at the other side in the stacking direction, at the first side and the other side in the cell width direction, respectively. |
