PURPOSE: A backward parking assistant method is provided to improve the convenience of a driver by indicating a goal steering angle direction and distance, a moving track in which the vehicle should move, a parking step, and a stop signal indication in a backward camera image. CONSTITUTION: A backward parking assistant method comprises the following steps: a step of indicating a first graphic object in a backward camera image which provides the goal steering angle information for the backward parking direction information and the backward parking to a target parking space(S100); and a step of changing the first graphic object so that the arrival of the steering angle of vehicle to the goal steering angle is visually recognized. The step of changing the first graphic object diversifies the color ratio of the first graphic object as the steering angle of vehicle reaches to the goal steering angle.
