PURPOSE: A chamber air cleaner and an air intake device for an engine using the same are provided to increase the amount of air supplied to the engine by efficiently utilizing a limited space and to reduce noise. CONSTITUTION: A chamber air cleaner comprises a chamber housing(110), an air intake duct(120), a variable valve(130), and a filter element(140). The chamber housing is mounted in an air hose via a connection unit(112). The air intake duct is arranged so that outdoor air flows into the chamber housing. The variable valve is installed around the air intake duct and opened/closed. The filter element is mounted in the chamber housing, thereby purifying the air has flown in.
