A method for drying a pipeline system (1) in an industrial plant is intended to make reliable drying of a pipeline, in particular with fittings which are contained, possible in a short time with comparatively low technical outlay. To this end, a pipeline (10) of the pipeline system (1) is provided on the inlet side with an air inlet (22) and an exhaust fan (18) is connected on the outlet side, wherein the exhaust fan (18) is operated in order to dry the pipeline (10).
