PURPOSE: Alloy cast iron and a manufacturing method of a vane of rotary compressor using the same are provided to improve wear resistance and tensile strength by being composed of components which are mixed at suitable contents, a martensite matrix structure, a flake graphite structure, and carbide. CONSTITUTION: Alloy cast iron is composed of, in wt%: C: 3.2-3.8; Si: 2.0-2.6; Mn: 0.5-1.0; Cr: 0.2-0.6; Mo: 0.1-0.6; Ti: 0.04-0.15; P: 0.3 or less; S: 0.1 or less; and the remainder Fe and inevitable impurities. The alloy cast iron comprises carbide whose volume ratio to a martensite matrix structure and a flake graphite structure is 15-30%. A binding substance is added to the alloy cast iron which is in a state of molten iron which is drawn out from a melting furnace. The amount of the binding substance which is added to the molten iron is 0.4-1.0% of mass of the molten iron.
