<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor control system capable of reducing power consumption of a plurality of sensors which detects a physical quantity or a state. <P>SOLUTION: A sensor control system 1 comprises: a plurality of sensors 20 which detects a physical quantity or a state; and a controller 10. Each sensor 20 comprises: a detection part 21; a communication part 26 for bidirectionally communicating with the controller 10; and an operation power source 27 of the detection part and the communication part. The controller 10 determines an operation interval of each sensor 20 on the basis of detection information of the plurality of sensors 20 transmitted through the respective communication parts 26 of the plurality of sensors 20, and instructs the operation interval to each sensor 20.
