<p>An antilock self-tightening drill chuck comprising a connector body (1) matingly connected to a driving machine, a jaw-guiding frame (6) that is coaxial with the connector body (1) and is capable of rotating relatively to the connector body, a jaw (8), and a threaded rod (7) connected to a thread of a threaded hole (12) in the connector body. The jaw (8) is slidably connected to a guiding groove (61) on the jaw-guiding frame (6). The jaw (8) is also slidably connected to a guiding mount groove (72) at the front portion of the threaded rod (7). An external thread on the threaded rod (7) is a left-handed thread. The threaded rod (7) is provided at the rear end thereof with a hole (73) extending forward, thus the threaded rod (7) where the hole (73) is provided is cylindrical in shape. The tubular threaded rod (7) is provided on a tube wall thereof with multiple grooves (71) running through the tube wall and extending forward from the rear end of the threaded rod. When the force of the self-tightening drill chuck clamping a drill and the force of an internal thread of the connector body (1) matching the external thread of the threaded rod (7) increase, a slight deformation is generated at a portion of the threaded rod where the grooves (71) are, allowing the threaded rod to change from the original cylindrical shape to a rearwardly tapered cone, this reduces contact surface and reduces friction, thus allowing for antilock, and for facilitating an operation in which the self-tightening drill chick releases the drill.</p> |
