In order to achieve a pedal mechanism that does not lock and does not provide an operation sensation, unless operated in a set order: the pedal mechanism has first and second pedals (105, 106), first and second plates (108, 109), and a lock bar (115); the radius of the second plate (109) is smaller than the first plate (108); when an arc region in the first plate is supporting the lock bar (115), the second plate does not come in contact with the lock bar and, as a result, the second pedal does not give an operation sensation even when stepped on, and the second plate cannot be locked; and when in a locked state wherein the lock bar is positioned in a notched region in the first plate, the lock bar comes in contact with the second plate, the second pedal provides an operation sensation, and the second plate can be locked. |
