<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device for plant cultivation, made by covering an illuminator with a covering material and making the inside and outside of the inner space of the covering material communicate with each other in an air vent opening, and preventing small insects from invading from the opening into the inner space of the covering material. <P>SOLUTION: This illumination device for plant cultivation includes an illuminator 4 as a light source, a coating material 41 coating the whole surface of the upper side of the illuminator 4 and having properties of preventing invasion of small insects, and a covering material 5 with light transmission properties, installed so as to cover the lower side of the illuminator 4. Furthermore, the device is formed by installing the covering material 5 to the coating material 41 in a condition of setting an opening 52 to make the inside and outside of the inner space 51 of the covering material 5 communicate with each other, and stretching tightly a small meshed air vent net 6 for preventing small insects from invading into the inner space 51 of the covering material 5 on the whole surface of the opening 52 so as to surely prevent small insects from invading into the inner space 51 of the covering material 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
