<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a rotary damper at low cost, to make the damper possess durability, and to improve operation feeling. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary damper comprises: a housing 20 having an accommodation chamber 24; a rotor 30 accommodated in the accommodation chamber 24; a support shaft 23 formed at the housing 20; a bearing K which is formed at the rotor 30 and has a receiving part 35 for receiving the support shaft 23 and supporting the housing 20 and the rotor 30 so as to be turnable; and an O-ring 40 whose surface is coated with silicone and which is formed of an annular elastic material, and brakes the rotation of the rotor 30 with respect to the housing 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
