<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type continuously variable transmission, in which sufficient lubricating oil can be always supplied to a contact portion of a roller and a cam surface, without impairing a function of a loading cam type pressing device. <P>SOLUTION: A cylinder part 47a is provided from axial both ends of an outer circumferential part of a retainer 47 to respective sides of a loading cam 46 and an outer disc 2, along the axial direction. An inner circumferential surface 47b of the cylinder part 47a is overlapped with an outer circumferential surface 2c of the outer side disc 2 and an outer circumferential surface 46c of the loading cam 46. On respective inner circumferential surfaces 47b, 47b of the retainer 47, which are opposed to respective center portions of the outer side disc outer circumferential surface 2c and a loading cam outer circumferential surface 46c, groves 47c, 47c are formed extending in the circumference direction, and seal rings 49, 49 are provided in the respective grooves 47, 47, so that a sealing part 50 in which lubricating oil is sealed and which brings a roller 48 in an oiltight state is formed inside a loading cam device 45. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
