ELECTROMAGNETIC COIL, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME, AND INSULATING TAPE

The present invention is an electromagnetic coil having, on a coil conductor, an insulating coating in which a mica layer that contains mica and a reinforcing layer that contains a fiber reinforcing material, inorganic particles, and a resin are alternately layered. The electromagnetic coil is characterized by the inorganic particles containing secondary agglomerate particles formed by cohesion of primary particles of hexagonal crystal boron nitride. This electromagnetic coil is provided with an insulating coating that suppresses external outflow loss of the inorganic particles and assures good thermal conductivity. In addition, the present invention is an insulating tape having a mica layer that contains mica, and a reinforcing layer that contains a reinforcing material, inorganic particles and a resin and is layered on the mica layer. The insulating tape is characterized by the inorganic particles including secondary agglomerate particles formed by cohesion of primary particles of hexagonal crystal boron nitride. This insulating tape provides an insulating coating that suppresses external outflow loss of the inorganic particles and assures good thermal conductivity.
