<p>According to the present invention, a package structure for a liquid crystal display device (1) is provided with a package box (6) to store the liquid crystal display device (1), and buffer members (11, 12, 17). The buffer members (11, 12, 17) are stored in the package box (6) together with the liquid crystal display device (1), and are interposed between the liquid crystal display device (1) and the package box (6). The buffer member (11) has a groove (12c), and a side wall (12g) of the groove (12c) comprises a plurality of buffer faces (12a, 12b) which are formed so that the gap between the buffer face and the inner side of a display panel (2) becomes larger than the gap between the buffer face and the outer side of the display panel (2). The center buffer member (17) is arranged at the further inner side of the display panel (2), compared to the inner-side buffer face (12b). The gap between the center buffer member (17) and the display panel (2) is larger than the gap between the buffer face (12b) and the display panel (2).</p> |
