<p>Provided is a replaceable-cutting-edge rotary cutting tool that can simultaneously machine a plurality of grooves at a high efficiency. To said end, the replaceable-cutting-edge rotary cutting tool is configured from a body, locators, cutting inserts, and a pressing member. Vanes are integrally provided to the outer peripheral surface of the body, and the vanes are arranged in parallel at the outer peripheral surface in a plurality of rows in a manner so that a plurality are arranged in each row. The locators are mounted to the vanes. A protrusion is formed at the locator surfaces that contact the cutting inserts, a depression is formed at the cutting insert surfaces that contact the locators, and the cutting insert depressions fit to the locator protrusions. The side surfaces of the locator protrusions on the side of the locator tips contact the corresponding inner peripheral side surfaces of the cutting insert depressions, and a gap is provided between the wall surfaces on the locator base side and the lateral surface on the body side of the cutting inserts.</p> |
