<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assign TVWS channels efficiently and surely in a first mode device which does not have an enabler capable of communicating with a TVWS. <P>SOLUTION: When a first mode device 31 receives an enable signal from a communication enabler, the first mode device 31 transitions from a non-enable state to an enabler setup complete state and issues an enable request to the communication enabler. When the communication enabler receives the enable request from the first mode device 31, it returns an enable acknowledge and transmits to the first mode device 31 a beacon frame in which vacancy information received from a TVWS database 2 is written. When the first mode device 31 receives the beacon frame and also receives a connection confirmation signal from the communication enabler within a waiting period, it keeps an enable state and performs radio communication by using a TVWS channel based on the vacancy information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
