<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white-based Au alloy which is provided with workability and spring characteristics as a material for spectacles and a material for accessories. <P>SOLUTION: The white-based Au alloy comprises 10-15 mass% of Pd, 7.5-11.5 mass% of Cu, 0.1-3 mass% of Si, 0.1-1.5 mass% of Ir, and 0.1-1.5 mass% of Ru, with the balance of Au and unavoidable impurities.
