<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine for enabling a player to perform appropriate shooting operation at a power recovery time and to reliably obtain benefit to be normally gained. <P>SOLUTION: The pinball game machine is provided with a shooting guide information control means that is provided on a performance control board and controls output of shooting guide information about which of left shooting and right shooting is more advantageous to a player on the basis of a normal time state command transmitted by a main control board when a game state changes, and restarts a game from a game state prior to power shutdown on the basis of game control information held by a backup means when the power is recovered. The pinball game machine transmits a power recovery time state command to the performance control board from the main control board on the basis of the game state when the power is recovered.
