<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To slowly increase the fluid flow area in order to gradually increase the pressure difference between the front and the rear of a valve body, thereby slowing the valve opening operation and preventing generation of strong impact and vibration, consequently, avoiding such a problem that vibration and noise are strongly generated at the moment of high pressure-difference operation. <P>SOLUTION: A flow path opening/closing control device includes: a fluid inlet 101; a fluid outlet 102; a valve device 103 installed between the fluid inlet 101 and the fluid outlet 102; and a pressure balancing control circuit 104 that opens/closes a flow path between the fluid inlet 101 and the fluid outlet 102 in the valve device 103 by changing the fluid flow area. An adjusting device 105 is installed separately from the valve device 103 in the pressure balancing control circuit 104. The adjusting device changes the size of the fluid flow area in order to slower the pressure change in the fluid passing through the pressure balancing control circuit 104 when the flow path opening/closing control device is opened/closed. A connecting pipe 108 is configured to communicate between the valve device 103 and the adjusting device 105.
